A Lethal kiss
Poem by: Despoina
His kiss’ essence flows into her throat;
Slowly, drop by drop, torturing her senses.
Her lips, are getting cold,
Her tongue, numbed.
Her mouth’s, like a blue violet,
Unable to whisper.
He’s looking at her…
His eyes are glowing.
His gaze’s dazzled by ecstasy!
He poisoned her unfortunate heart
 That’s beating to the slow repeats of a deadly tango!

  1. takes two to tango though...all depends on the intent of the poison though i it love she succumbs or worse...

  2. Hypnotic repetition and colorful use of sensory description... The ending is fantastic.

  3. "he poisoned her unfortunate heart" a perfect line to end this!

  4. elegant finish.
    very eloquent write.

  5. Quite impressive job.
